Shouya ISHIDA

Shouya Ishida is a young boy who is constantly bullied by his classmates. He is a very lonely and isolated child, and he takes his anger out on the only person who is even more vulnerable than he is: a deaf girl named Shoko Nishimiya. Shouya's bullying eventually drives Shoko to transfer to another school, and Shouya is left to face the consequences of his actions. Shouya is saved by a teacher who helps him to understand the pain that he has caused Shoko. Shouya begins to make amends with Shoko, and he eventually becomes a better person.
